Now that you've seen it in the familiar way, I can tell you what it really is. It's my company. Me, as an entity. For the bulk of the last ten years, I have worked as an independent artistic instructor, advisor and consultant, creative director, choreographer, AND casting liaison. I've taught the performing arts in classroom and workshop settings from kindergarten in NYC to high school in Chicago to university level in South Korea. All of this to say my opinion and artistry has been called upon by many and many have entrusted me with their endeavors. I have spent many years developing my own methods to aid in the advancement of aspiring and semi-professional artists.
My Ideology
I believe every person is born with a crown, and we earn jewels as we learn, grow and evolve. Each of those jewels bedazzle the crown that makes us stand taller. My work is all about finding that crown, acquiring or polishing those jewels and therefore walking taller and being the best artist.
My Artistic Approach
I approach everything from an actor's perspective. Encouraging artists to be as natural and honest (in each fleeting moment). Only then can we begin to discover, recover and uncover the things we will need to get the strongest, most entertaining physical or vocal performance.
My Company
My creation and consulting company, DIADEM, offers those services to any artist or entity. Coupling my own experiences with that of my research, and collaborations & in-depth conversations with both reputable and emerging artists - I have created the proper Creation/Consulting packages (CROWNS) for multiple levels of artistry and interest. I have partnered with artists and knowledgeable folks in various fields that will work with us to discover, uncover and recover your personal jewels (JEWELS).
